Faust & Fredriksson

With another Dalsland musician, fiddler Tomas Fredriksson, who also was made “riksspeleman” last summer, I have formed a duo Faust & Fredriksson (keyed fiddle and fiddle).
You will not be surprised to find that we mostly play tunes from our beloved Dalsland.

Sometimes we play together with a rythm section of double bass and guitar (very good for dancing) and that quartet is named Alban’s Kapell.

We are all members of Dalslands Spelmansförbund (a gathering of folk musicians from Dalsland), which will record a CD at the beginning of this year.
