Privacy policy

Who is responsible for your data? Alban Faust, Borduninstrument, Ör Frestersbyn 12, 464 92 Mellerud, Sweden. Email: info@albanfaust.se

What data do I collect, and why?

Orders: name, email address, phone number, delivery address and, if you wish, a message. I use them to receive and process your order and to contact you about it. Basis: performance of the contract with you.

Contact form: name, email address and your message, so that I can reply. Basis: legitimate interest.

Accounting: details of completed purchases are kept in the accounts because the law requires it. Basis: legal obligation.

Security: the web server and a security tool record, among other things, your IP address to protect the site against intrusion. Basis: legitimate interest.

How long is the data kept? Order details are kept for as long as the Swedish Accounting Act requires. Copies of the emails from the forms are deleted automatically from the website after 90 days. Contact messages are not kept longer than needed to reply. Security logs are kept for a limited time.

Who receives the data? The web host that runs the server and the email service that sends the emails from the forms. I do not pass the data on to anyone else.

Cookies: the website uses a single cookie, which remembers the language you chose. It is needed for the site to work and is kept for one year at most. There is no tracking and no advertising. The CD page has an embedded YouTube video. When you open that page, the video is loaded from YouTube (Google), which then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. The links to Facebook, Spotify, YouTube and Deezer do not send any data until you click them.

Your rights: you have the right to know what data I hold about you, to have errors corrected, to have your data deleted (where the law does not require me to keep it), to restrict or object to the processing, and to receive a copy of your data. Contact info@albanfaust.se. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
